Simon Lovell, a personal trainer, designed the Lunch Box Diet, which was a great success to his fitness clients. Recently, it has also been featured in Elle Magazine, which bears the highlights that the Lunch Box Diet shall “become the biggest slimming craze of 2008.”
It is based upon the notion that filling the lunch box with healthy foods and feed on them during the day. Lovell recommends snacking almost every hour until you feel satisfied. For breakfast and dinner, you can eat normal meal, although Lovell provides several suggestions.
The components of the diet are 60% vegetables, 30% protein and 10% salad dressing or condiments. His highly recommended foods are:

2. Chicken, turkey breast, codfish
3. Balsamic vinegar
4. Fruits
5. For physically active people, Lovell recommends eating high-carbohydrates foods like brown rice and wholegrain breads
The diet has room for rewards however, Simon strongly warns against having pitfalls along the way.
The key is moderation and less frequency. The diet is ideal to people who are new to dieting. It is not complicated with its online eating plan designed to prevent individuals from bingeing at mealtimes. Overall, the diet is:
1. Ideal for people who do not enjoy counting calories, making meal plans and preparing complex recipes
2. Best for individuals who like snacking
3. Flexible that allows room for personal selections
4. Great with its low glycemic index foods that are helpful in keeping the energy levels stable all throughout the day

Beneficial to health especially to those who skip meals or eat at convenient stores
